Our cat is no longer symmetrical
Oct. 30th, 2006 01:26 pmYesterday I noticed that Misty had a small wound at her mouth. We tried to take a look at it, but of course the minute you tried, she got all fidgety and wouldn't let us. (Not that she's in pain because she didn't respond to touching it, she just went all 'zomg people trying to examine me'.) So last evening, she was lying in her usual 'look at me, I'm so lazy' position on her back, her head back with her throat up and usually when she's lying in that position, you can see her vampire like fangs. Only, I only was seeing one. Another round of examinations and her being insulted I was trying to look at her teeth and it led to nothing.
So this morning, I get my mom as back up as I really couldn't see her left fang and it was right underneath that small wound and usually they're so easy to spot. A lot of struggling later and yeah, one of her fangs is gone. She must have gotten hit by something and it broke off. She's not in any pain and she can eat just fine, so we most likely won't take her to the vet. It's just kind of sad.
