Veronica Mars and...ZUKO.

Zuko sat scowling in the corner of the Perk as he waited for Veronica to arrive. According to almost everyone on the island, Veronica was the person to go to if you needed to find out secrets or find a person. He hoped that was true. No one, not even his uncle, knew what he had asked from her. He didn't want to get his own hopes up by telling anyone else. Still, he'd seen the pictures. It was her. It had to be her.

Veronica slid into the seat opposite him and Zuko leaned forward. "Did you find her?" he demanded.

He only heard half of Veronica's reply, his attention focussed on the picture Veronica slid over the table towards him. His hand was unsteady as he touched a finger to the figure on the photograph. She was older than he remembered, but it was her.

A rare smile broke up and the next thing he knew, he was up and around the table and kissing Veronica. Yeah, it surprised him too as he pulled back startled and trying desperately not to blush as she smirked at him.
