woodfaceIt must have been ages ago since I put U2's cd Pop on. Talk about nostalgia. It suddenly struck me that this cd came out while I was in high school. Shit, high school. I've been out of high school for five years now. Damn, I finished uni this year. Heh, there's a class reunion tomorrow evening and while I was tempted to go, paying 25 euro so that one of my former classmates can make a profit out of this didn't sit well enough for me to actually go this year.
But besides that, damn. I'm old because at that age my sis would talk to me about music that they listened to in high school and to me that sounded like ages ago. (Even if I listen to half of the music that she listens to as well.)
So now I'm 23 (an age that in my mind would mean I'm mature). I don't feel all that different from then. Although, maybe I do. Teenage!Jara was scary. I'm still scary.
Almost forgot how much I loved this CD.
