Saw a doc about Fox and its objectiveness.

The O'Reilly Factor was mentioned. Is this guy for real? Do they actually allow a nutjob like that to say things in public?

Oh, he's told people to shut up more than once. But twisting words around is the way of the 'entertainment' press in general. If you fire him for that, you have to fire everyone. It's also the responsibility of the people to research their facts and not just be taken in by talk-show hosts who aren't actually news anchors, but entertainers.

He gets by because he claims he isn't partisan. He supposedly treats both the left and the right equally. I don't think he does but many people do think he does. He has a pretty big audience, mostly of right wing moderates and left wing conservatives.

Frankly, most people know what they're getting into when they agree to appear on his show.
