TPTB work in mysterious ways. Only the most special shippers get chosen and were let in on this little secret. Now that S8 will be the final season, it has been decided that other shippers are allowed to know as well.

Sam can only be Sam when she gets the love of Jack. Without it she is nothing but a loveless clone. With it, she becomes a woman and herself. She will be a better person when she is with Jack.

Thank you! You cleared that up for me. I was wondering how someone could reach Sam's age and yet still be completely unwise to the world of men and dating - despite the fact she was engaged once that we know of.

Now I get it! The Hanson thing was a cover-up, a ploy if you will. Bet he was a clone too!

Oh but the engagement was just a program to give Sam the illusion that she has led a long life. Of course Hanson had to be cloned to make it believable.
