(no subject)

You know, I don't really have anything useful to say so I probably shouldn't post but *egh*

I have class in 10 minutes, should try to get my ass off the chair and head to the right building. Would be handy.

Am supposed to go to the library today and get some more thesis work done. I'll probably wear off that thesis!icon Julie made me.

I'm going through some language crisis and suddenly want to do English-Dutch next year so I can brush up on things. A sudden fear has come over me that I'll end up not knowing any language at all. Might have something to do with my sis telling me that my dutch sucked in the chapter she's correcting. I'm trying to blame it on the fact that I was translating different texts at the same time. (7 minutes left)

Yeah, I'll end up speaking a sort of dutch with an english word in every sentence while my english remains broken.

Thesis update

Goals for this week:
- correct unicorn (yes, I gathered all the info now grr)
- correct crocodile
- look into Albertus Magnus and Brunetto Latini
- copy translation from Brunetto Latini
- go to Brussels and compare the texts from Bartholomaeus Anglicus (they're the same, crap!)
- finish Lion: already done Physiologus, Aberdeen. Still have to do half of Bartholomaeus Anglicus and Albertus Magnus, completely Jacob van Maerlant and Brunetto Latini. Can we say d'oh?

Next week:
- start and finish the sirene.
