This weekend you have failed me. You have failed me spectacularly. Here I am reading Island in the sea of time by S.M. Stirling and I'm squeeing my head off over the slash (girl slash, yes. You know boy slash bored me something fierce). This pairing? Hot. Seriously, seriously hot. Black lesbian Coast Guard captain, jaded with life and the world and the native young girl who gets whumped, enslaved and then offered to said captain as a gift. Come on, there should be heaps and heaps of fic out there. So much blanks to fill in.

And what do I find? Nothing. Absolutely, nothing. Zip. Nada. Noppes.

I am disappointed. So very disappointed.
