Wow, I suck at updating lately. It's almost been a month. I've also almost been working for about a month. Today is my first national holiday! Whoot!

I still very much love my job even if it's sometimes frustrating when I'm in between two projects twiddling my thumbs. Apparently my dev leader is happy to me (so one of my co-workers told me). Him and the project manager have a week off so he set me up with work for the week... which I'm almost finished with and it's only half way the week. Oops. I think he underestimated the code he gave me to convert. Or I work just way faster than he expects me to. But all in all, my team rocks. It's a comfortable group, they're really nice and don't mind helping out and explaining things. They're fun to talk to and it's just a nice atmosphere and I really lucked out with this as first job.

Roy Mustang is owning my brain so much. I adore playing him. We've got Umbridge as acting principal at FH lately and Roy is all ready to arrest her. Wheee. I still have no clue how Roy became comfortable to play. He's such a complex character and I still get nervous about making him act just right, but somehow he's easier than I would have expected and that's a joy because I love this character so much.

I wish Cameron would come that easy lately, but I'm struggling with him at the moment. I need to do a post for him soon however, but my brain is all blocked right now.

And omg, I am looking forward to S3 of Avatar. I wanna see now. The trailer is so frigging awesome and I just... WANT NOW! And Suki better be alright because I will kill things and omg WANT! Hmmm, are there Avatar soundtracks? The trailer music is cool.

FMA how I love thee. The latest chapter is just... way too short. *snerks* But omg, Roy and Riza are made of win. They have code and she told him, she told him about Pride and she wins so much because Pride never ever will have expected her to take that kind of risk, only it was a very secure way of telling Roy. And omg, they have code and he was cute and flirty and got turned down and he misses her so much.

Him running in to Armstrong was so awesome. I am looking forward to seeing where they go. Roy already made an invitation to work together, but Armstrong so has the stronger position and Roy better not let her overshadow him, but he's got leverage as he has access to the Eastern troops. OMG WANT MORE!

Can't get enough of the new Crowded House CD. It rocks and I missed them so much. Heaven That I'm Making is a Roy/Aly song. Nerh.

I think I'm out of random topics for now. Oh! Am reading second Aly book and omg! So much love. Yay Taybur and Aly is awesome and am frowny at Nawat. Which has several reasons. Bweeeh. Should read some more.

Oh oh oh! Forgot. Of course I read the books. And I was right about Snape and I am mad about Tonks and Lupin. That's all I have to say.

I want to know if Armstrong is double crossing her people or if she just handled the infiltration thing waaaay more smoothly than Roy did.

And Roy/Riza rock SO MUCH, so much. I can't even talk about how much I love that code scene.

Aly is awesome. I totally and unsurprisingly agree.

I think she's just that good, but she's also had time to prepare herself for what is coming. She had to travel to Central after all while Roy got it all dumped on top of him.

They do. That whole scene... they're frigging awesome.

And I always kinda joke that Atlantis is like smooshing DS9 and Voyager together, and putting it in Gate-verse.

Um. I guess it is a bit but it's nowhere near their standard. If you please ignore the last seasons of those series.

Well, I mean in the sense of show concept.

You got the space station sort of setting from DS9, plus the 'holy crap, deep space' of Voyager.

And... I like the end of DS9...

Ha! I loathed the last season. The prophet crap made me want to beat things. Then again, I never got over Jadzia.

Oh, and I loved it for all the little things, like... the stuff with Nog, and Vic Fontaine and... okay, the totally silly yet awesome baseball episode.

I was frowny at the whole thing. I always shipped Jadzia/Julian and then they pretty much ruined it by making Jadzia all about the Klingons and Worf. When they killed her off and then had Ezri going after Worf again before finally going back to Julian, it sort of pissed me off. It was like he got the consolation prize or something. Jadzia's death was so frigging pointless.

I remember reading it in the Star Trek magazine. There's was an interview in which she said that she would have loved continuing to play Jadzia. But then I read this ages ago and maybe I'm misremembering as you're not the first person I have heard saying that she quit. *ponders looking for mag*
