But...people are so picky about their messenger bags! Do you want a plain one, understated in some neutral color, or do you want a bright shinny one or do you not care or why does this matter to me and I saw a guy on the street yesterday with a messenger bag and NOW I WANNA SEX HIM UP.
I want a trendy one but not shiny or bright. So neutral colours and I've been eyeing the Timbuk2 site and I don't know if we get those around here so maybe I should bug my sister who is now officially in Colorado for two years about it, but I feel funny getting a bag I haven't seen for myself first!
I've got, like a million messenger bags free from various conferences and stuff. But, sadly, I don't think those are the trendy ones you are looking for. They're more functional than anything.

YES! We should all have messenger bags. They are totally the new black (or pink or purple or ... oh, whatever). Messenger bags rock so very much. I began my love of them with Dark Angel and then became somewhat obsessed with them through Veronica Mars. Fashion icons, I tell you, fashion icons.
