After a lot of debating and arguing I have finally come to a decision. I know a lot of people will declare me crazy for this and I expect mass unfriending but... the truth has to be said;

I like Matthew MacFadyen better as Darcy than Colin Firth.

She works on a lot of different things, but the only thing I've "seen" her in recently was that she did the voice work for Lara Croft in the most recent Tomb Raider game.

Have to see if I can download find some other things she has been in.

I guess the person everyone expected to do it was Rachel Weisz, but apparently the producers liked Keeley better, and I can't say I blame them. Though RW would also have done great voice work.

Rachel Weisz was the female lead in The Mummy, Constantine I believe, and won an academy award for "Best Supporting Actress" for The Constant Gardener earlier this year.

I'd choose "fisticuffs" since although Matthew only has 1/2" on Colin height wise, he is a heavier build and is 14 years younger. ;)

Hmmm, admittedly the Marquess of Queensbury (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marquess_of_Queensbury_rules) rules didn't exist then, but if they were followed it would be fairly gentlemanly. In fact, you weren't allowed to participate in amateur sporting events until the 1850s unless you were a member of the upper class, so how could any sport such as fisticuffs not be gentlemanly?
