Yaaaay Vala! So happy to have her around. I really like her. The ep was okay, not the best but not bad either. Cameron continues to be my boy and it makes me very happy.

I love Vala's reaction to the psych test. I love that she didn't accept Woolsey's offer. I just love her. I think my favourite moment has to be at the end with Cam talking to her and... zomg UST. Might be in my head. I think I'm fixated. Yay!

Not just in your head! Though just for a split second there they sort of stopped being Cam and Vala and became--not exactly John and Aeryn--but at any rate I was a little taken aback by Cam (okay, I just typed "John," so maybe I am confused!) being the one in control. Which he should have been, of course, and it totally worked, but on another level I knew that Aeryn wouldn't have put up with John talking to her like that, and yeah. I had about 3 seconds of character conflation. But don't tell TPTB or they won't give them scenes together anymore! ;)

I really don't have that problem at all. The characters are so seperate in my head.

I just really love the scenes they get together. They so stand out.

It was very weird because I've never conflated them at all before--they're such different characters--and even this was just for half a second. I think it was really more of a visual thing--the way he moved into her personal space like that just triggered a John/Aeryn reminder. As soon as he started talking I was back to Cam and Vala.

Happiest moment of SciFi Friday was Cam telling Vala what's what. And yet, it left me feeling squirmy and uncomfortable too. I think this season is going to leave me feeling like tht a lot.

I know I'm projecting, but I swear several times when Claudia is reacting off Cam it feels like she's having to work really hard not to crack up.

Why squirmy? I really liked that moment.

Heh, I think BB and CB just work really well together so there is an automatic response to each other when they get to play together again. It always looks to me like that had this secret, that they know something more about each other that the others don't know about.

When Vala started reading off the second question of her attempt to cram for the psych eval, I busted out in mad, gleeful cackling. The A-plot was a bit mediocre, especially with the quick resolution, but Vala's B-plot was excellent.

Yeah, the A-plot wasn't exactly innovating, but it was alright. Vala's plot however did shine the most.
