You know, I actually contemplated applying but I read through rules and all and it seems a little complicated + my time on AIM can be extremely limited. But it looks really cool and from what you and others on my f-list have said it seems like a lot of fun! :)

The rules sound scary at first, but they're really not that hard to keep up with. Basically, as long as you're not a complete twit and play decently, no one will complain and bug you. It's a matter of common sense and it is a whole lot of fun.

Yeah, they were kinda confusing and scaring me a bit when I was reading through them. I do know how to role play though, been doing it for over two years. Is there any limit as to how often I have to be on AIM? I'm thinking my uni schedule along with time zones and whatnot.

I've been thinking about a few different characters. Among them Sue Storm from Fantastic Four, someone (not taken) from Firefly or possibly Don Flack from CSI. I'm indecisive (and quite possibly open to suggestions). ;)

Oh, and the rules? We're working on cutting them down and clarifying and being less scary and bulky.

We're good, honest people. And Firefly chars? We have a Zoe and an Inara. That's it. Not even any other Firefly Apps. It's crazy.

Yeah, I mod a comm myself so I know how hard it can be to keep the rules easy and everything. Although my comm is just music based and nothing too involved like FH. But it does look like a lot of fun.

I'm guessing AIM isn't something that you're forced to go on? I've been reading through the rules and can't really see anything about that. Seeing as I'm in Sweden and have to go to bed early at times due to university I'm not always around when everyone else is.

AIM is not neccessary. It's just a nice easy way for folks to get a hold of other players. E-mail works fine too.

We've actually got a small contigency of folks from your area/timezone, as well. Like Jara, obviously, and we've got a very awesome Norweigan player as well.

Glad to see the interest. We love getting new student applications, we really do :-D

I didn't even know you have to be on AIM. It's handy, but I don't think they're going to kick you off for not being able to be around. If you're unsure about it, you can always put it in your application to make sure? The admins are really cool people, though.

You should watch Firefly though, if you can. I just recently saw the show (*pets downloads*) and I fell in love with it. I think you'd enjoy it too. :)
