Ten Unpopular Opinions in the Fandoms

1. I'm tired of Jack O'Neill. RDA is turning into an old cranky fart and most definitely not in a sexy way.

2. Teal'c's biceps don't own me. Actually, while Teal'c is an okay character I have no real love for him once I look past his soldier life.

3. Lee Adama's biceps have nothing on me either for that matter. Actually, while I like Lee very much, he's a bit of a prick.

4. Wormhole Xtreme is the worst SG episode ever.

5. Ron Moore is an idiot. Although, this opinion seems to be gaining popularity. I do not trust him to do the right thing with the show.

6. This is an oldie but I do not get male slash. Getting hot character A together with hot character B does nothing to me. Unless it's Sam and Kara, but that's femslash. I need female parts, damnit.

7. The initial ending to the fourth season in Farscape? Pure gold. Oh god, you're all going to hate me, but I loved it. I kinda just ended up laughing and thought it worked perfectly for them. That being said, I did have PK Wars lying around for the next day. *goes hide*

8. I love Anders because he is NOT Lee. Neither is a copy of Lee or a replacement for Lee in Kara's mind. Anders is uncomplicated and just there and he works perfectly for Kara.

9. Threads while cute and shippy is pretty much the last time I squeeed over Sam and Jack. Jack is getting too old for Sam and she would be so pretty with Cameron. Because let's face it, Cam and Sam are so having dinner together when Sam's around and he's way too familiar with her not to.

10. And because it has to be said, but you all know it anyway; I loathe Kara/Lee. It's not cute, neither is it hot pilot sex. It's emotional incest and please pass me some more Kara/Sam, Kara/Helo or Kara/Anders.

5. Okay, I gotta ask. Last year I was seeing lots of "Ron Moore is GOD" on my flist. This year it's all "Ron Moore is SATAN" on my flist. Wha? Did he screw up on the first part of the 2nd season or something for this fall from grace? Or are burnings of Ron Moore's effigies the new black this season?

7. Loved the regular series ending to Farscape. Loved it, loved it. It was mythic.

5. It's basically based on podcasts in which RM tells lots of crap that if he would just keep his mouth shut, people would like him much better. Basically, I started questioning his intelligence when he swapped triad and pyramid around. Heh, do your research man.

#1 Yes it is so true and such a shame. I wish he hadn't been in the first S9 ep at all.

#4 Ok so plotwise its poorer than Oliver Twist after a bad day at the dog track but its such a piss take made me giggle.

#5 Being a bit of a ST hater, I have no prior experience with him so will let the stories speak for themselves. So far I haven't been disappointed.

#6 I don't really get slash at all to be honest (and Kara/Sam is WAAAY over my head) but then again I'm a bit of a canon whore.

#7 The first time I saw that ending (I never religiously followed FS so just caught eps as and when) I had just woken up about 10 seconds earlier and seriously thought I was still asleep. It freaked me out big time, man!

#9 I'm a die hard and will always be an S/J shipper in my heart. I can't ship her with anyone else, even the delicious Mitchell.

5. It's more his attitude. And my experience with the last season of DS9, but I don't know if that was all his crack. If it was, we're doomed.

6. I don't know if I'm a canon whore or not. Sometimes, I think I've finally figured it out and then I go and do something to prove that I'm the opposite. (Mmmmm, Sam/Kara)

9) Do not agree with you in the slightest. If she was with Cam she'd be right back where she was..in lust with her boss and definitely against the regs. She is in love with Jack no matter how old he is...

10) You don't get male slash (neither do I really)...I don't get Kara/Sam. They will never,ever meet and neither is a lesbian (this is the same argument that I have with Jack/Daniel but with girls)so never, ever going to happen. I figure it's a meh, let Jara have her fun (same thing I say w/ J/D shippers) but not my bag. I am, however, mildly amused with Kara/Lee. Personally, I just think she should be proud of her sexuality and have sex with whomever she wants.
