I have no clue why I'm feeling so nervous. I was nervous yesterday, but that had a direct cause. There is no reason at all for me to be sitting here and feeling like something will pounce up to me and... I don't know.

Strangely enough I'm in the mood to read Hermione/Krum fics. I'll blame it on the fact that the actor is hotter than the Krum in the books.

VDAB are idiots. After already sending them an email last week telling them that I had done everything I should do when they pointed out my waiting period has expired, they now replied again saying that I should do everything that I have done. Seriously, don't you people communicate? Person L deals with you in your hometown. Person P is sitting in his office, looking bored and thinking 'what can I do today?' So he picks up a pile of files, randomly starts mailing those people and doesn't bother to check that those people might not already have taken the steps required. When the person he emails replies that they have done the necessary things, he says 'no way!' and mails you back naming everything you should do, without bothering to check with person L. Granted, person L is one of the laziest people I have ever met in my life. But come on, communications in your institution are vital, especially if you let different people handle one file. Maybe they should put one person in charge of one file instead of putting different people in charge of different processes without them bothering to make sure the files they have on their desk are up to date.

*sighs* Still nervous.

ETA: After a call to the VDAB, I am beyond a doubt that I know what went wrong. When I went to the office to register anew, the computers were not working for some reason. Person L wrote everything down and I went to my business with the syndicate etc. Only, person L never frakking bothered to update my file when the computers were back online. Person T has now put everything in order for me.
