BSG Drabble: Amenity

She crawls into his rack, the smell and taste of Lee still clouding all her senses.
Helo stirs, opens one eye blearily and stares at her for a moment. “Kara?”
“Go back to sleep.” She moves closer to his body and allows him to wrap his arms around her.
He doesn’t ask questions, never has, and she can feel his body relax in sleep almost immediately.
She buries her nose against his shoulder and inhales deeply. It’s easy to allow his familiar scent and feel to wash away the memories of something more complicated. This she doesn’t have to question.
