Uninspired

Gods, now I even have writer's block for my lj posts. *kicks self*

I keep having these odd dreams, yesterday it was about my thesis and having arguments with my advisors. The day before I was a mother of two boys and a girl, civilisation had ended after the entire world iced over. Only, now the ice was rapidly melting and only the goverment knew where the land was. They had selected a random few families to be led to the land while the rest would more than likely drown. It took a lot of begging and persuading for me to be allowed on one of the boats. My two songs died under way, one fell overboard and drowned. Then they started accusing me of killing them.

My unhappiness with my writing just keeps increasing. Part 4 of the Sam/Kara fic is betaed but I'm being blocked in the editing. I'm completely uninspired and when I have an idea, I tend to give up on it after the first paragraph.

In the meanwhile femslash is the new black for me. I want more Kara/Sam fic and possibly Chiana/Sizoku, I'm sure Amy didn't have that pairing in mind when she tried to draw me into Farscape. Also, Kara/Helo would be very welcome.

I just didn't like Jool. I still don't. She annoys me, it got a bit better later on, but I didn't mind getting rid of her. I like Sikozu. Not sure why. And she and Chiana are just hot together *g* Yes, I'm sick.

Just referring to implication, which I think was there way early on. If not, mea culpa. *wince*

I'm not overfond of either Jool or Sikozu, but there was vibing going on between Jool and Pip that I just never saw with Sputnik. YMMV. *shrug*

They annoy me for similar reasons, but Jool got over it to some extent. Sikozu, if anything, just seemed to get snobbier.

But really, pairing Chiana with anyone isn't exactly what you'd call breaking canon. Or even really stretching it.

Yeah, she's looking very much intrigued by Scorpy already. See, Jool annoyed me because she kept screaming and I really don't know why I like Sikozu. She should in theory work on my nerves, but she doesn't. And she's pretty and her and Chiana are gorgeous *g*

Totally with you (and the whole rest of the fandom) on the screaming. Although I must concede it had its uses, with the whole melting-metal thing. The banshee in me had to respect that. ;-)


As for Teh Hawt...mostly it's that Chi and Jool working the club in "Scratch 'n' Sniff" melted my brain. Okay, yeah, under the influence, but still. *thud*

But yeah, Raelee Hill? NO argument on the pretty. brainiacfive was using her as a model for an Amber character, so I'd seen some Cute Beyond Belief pictures of her before Sikozu ever showed up. Main reason I really, really wanted to like Sikozu, actually.

So I will never, ever argue with Motivation by Pretty. *g*

Weirdly, I've been having odd dreams, too. Less random than yours, perhaps, but things I haven't dreamt of in a long time, or in odd combinations.
