Okay, Helo and Kara have so slept together. *nods* It explains part of her "she's pregnant" and Kara staring at him in disbelief and screaming. Yeah yeah, I know that's 95% because Boomer is a frakking Cylon, but dude...

Or I'm just projecting what Katee Sackhoff said about a guy from her past coming back to her in the last episode. But, Helo and Kara are so cute when they find each other. Kara actually admits to missing him. Which of course can also be blamed on her having a mental breakdown.

Okay, so I have no solid proof whatsoever but... yeah, something there. Ha!

In other news, I am behind on my author appreciation thingie. Don't worry, I will catch up with it.

Got two other letters back saying that they don't have a position available. The museum of military history (and museum of art and history) do say that they're keeping my application and will inform me when anything becomes open.

Yeah, I read that one. Damn, there needs to be more. I'm actually playing with a tag for KLG right now, although we'll see where it goes.

*laughs* Maybe. I just... can't get into Kara/Lee. I read your fic last night and I really loved the writing and the characterisation, but somehow the ship rubs me the wrong way. I can't explain it. I will try to be more open to it when I rewatch the S1 DVD's, I found that rewatching the mini did help me a bit to revise my view on it.

*laughs* And I know Claira will keep pestering me to get into Kara/Lee. The thing is that I occasionally like to read fic about them on the condition that it's unresolved or really messed up and doomed to fail. Does that make sense? *g*

As she should! Kara/Lee is great fun! It's all angst and difficulties and history. An inability to communicate and a tendancy to get mad really quickly. It is really messed up, and it will fail - there won't be a happy ending for Kara and Lee. They'll get some happy moments, and they really do love one another, but it will be ANGSTCAKES and it will end in tears. Okay, so you can see why I like it. When they have babies or get married, I CRY FOR HUMANITY. And not in the good way (BABIES ARE BANNED ON GALACTICA).

Alas, I am not kidding. I see the Helo/Kara also, mostly based on that scene in KLG2 (I didn't even need the 'someone from her past' spec to get that far). I think they were fuck buddies at some point, and if noone else is going to write it, I, alas, am forced to.

See, the thing is. I don't see Kara actually loving Lee. Lee probably has a crush on her, and might have had for a long time. Kara was in love with Zak and right now, I don't think she is over Zak. Any feelings she has for Lee are just mixed up with what she felt for his brother and thus misplaced and simply wrong. I don't think she is in love with Lee as much as she is in love with the idea of loving someone who is as close as she can possible get to Zak. So in that aspect, I do see Kara/Lee, but only as something (and I agree completely with you here) that is failed to go wrong. At one point or another, Zak will come between them. Lee might as well start hating her when he realises that. Kara already hates herself. Heh, just my vision on them anyway.

And yeah, when I saw that Kara/Helo scene I right away liked the vibe between them. It's the interview with Katee Sackhoff that just sorta confirmed it. I'm not sure it's something serious though, but definitely something fun. So I'm all in favour for you writing it ;o)

I am writing the Starbuck/Helo as we speak. I should be working on my thesis (chapter two of which was due yesterday) but instead I am writing Starbuck/Helo. It is like CRACK.
