I'm feeling really pathetic right now as I'm apparently whimpering over this. Why do I live in a country where the closest thing you get to a convention is some weirdo's getting together, buying some scifi stuff and never getting to see anyone?

Then again, the actor is not the character so I can't get disappointed. Plus, it might keep me from actually going through a live girl!crush.

Yeah, sometimes I kick myself when I think that I lived in NYC and ATL where all these neato cons come to... then I realize I wasn't in fandom back then. And now I'm in the middle of nowhere. Life is CRUEL.
