BSG: US vs UK

Frack, that sucks. Apparently the UK version is missing some scenes. I hate it when they do this!

On the positive side; US opening theme is not nearly as good as the UK (which kicks ass big time).

Region 2 DVD's released March 28! I wants it.

Our Gemini cut from the UK was shorter than the US Gemini too. Heee. I know this as I've watched my illegal version waaaaaaay too many times. :)

Pffff, that sucks. They need to get their shit together and stop giving US or UK more or less stuff (same as on the DVD's, it just sucks).

Seriously it was shown at 8PM and repeated at 5PM which may have been the reason. Even so I was surprised they showed the Baltar/Kara scene... or maybe they didn't show all of it!

Will order the DVDs anyway :):)

Hello, you don't know me, but misssimm recommended you to me as a fellow BSG fan. I was looking for a few to add to my f-list, because the show is so my new favorite fandom. Do you mind if I friend you?

Also, I'm in the US, but I've heard that the UK opening is amazingly different from ours. Now I'm really curious and wish I could see it, just to compare.

Interestingly, I don't remember seeing Boxy in any of the episodes this season. I wonder if he showed up other times that were cut in the UK?

Can't be much, as these episodes are round about the same length as something from SciFi.

Sucks though.
