A much slower paced episode after the high adrenaline from "The Hand of God". I really do like Roslin and the relationship she's developping with Adama. Heh, she has both Adama's tied around her finger if you ask me. Poor Boomer and Helo *sighs* I knew it was going to happen and still... damn!

Kara, Kara, Kara. Funny scene about the personal hygiene with Lee. Heh, and yes she did show him. However, the ship is awkward because my mind keeps shouting "SHE SLEPT WITH YOUR BROTHER!" I like their friendship but right now ship is just (as lytarules identified it) too much like emotional incest. Ick ick ick. Kara in dress though? Not icky! She does need a Sam to dance with at formals because her choice between Lee and Gaius is just wrong.

Awwwww, I didn't see Cally around anywhere. Cally and Archie Lee would be so cute together.

Yup, this was a differiently paced episode. I don't know that President Roslin has Adama around her little finger, but they do have a nicely developing relationship.

I guess I don't think that Kara/Lee seems awkward - at least not the way it's portrayed on the screen. I mean, the hose fight scene certainly didn't feel awkward, and the look Lee gives her when she's in that dress - and you know she wore it pretty much just to get a reaction from him. I guess we'll see what happens in future episodes, but remember that the life they are living is very different now from what it was just a few months ago. With the world ended as they know it, things like who you want to be with are much more immediate.

Heh, the hose scene was cute but I see it more as a Kara/Lee friendship thing. They have done very much their best to show that Adama sees Kara as a sort of daughter (due to her connection with Zak). Lee showed the same sort of attachment to her when she went missing. It's kinda hard to go from a sibling relationship to ship. They will have to convince me if they want to go that way.

Don't worry, there are no spoilers in the transcript itself, though I can't comment on any comments people may make. It does sum things up rather well though.

I don't think I agree that Cmdr. Adama's treatment of Kara is because of Zak. I think he knew her because of Zak, but their relationship developed more because of the two years they served together on Galactica. His relationship with Lee and his wife was estranged, and he saw in her what he perhaps had been as a young pilot. So while he does see her as a daughter, I don't think it's just because of her relationship with Zak.

Anyway, wherever they do go with this, there are certainly lots of possibilities for the relationship. We just have to hope they do it well.
