Before we continue, let me tell you all that I had my first call from a "heavy breather" on my mobile. I'm glad the thing has a card and is not linked to an address.

First remark; too little Starbuck! *g*

Episode bored me less than 6 and 7 though (even if this time there really wasn't any part where Starbuck lit up my day). It's a bit different from other episodes, more focussed on the relationships, this time of Tigh and Adama (and Tigh's wife) and also of Adama and Roslin. Heh, if I'm shipping anyone it's Adama/Roslin, or maybe Dee and the pres' puppy dog (yeah, I forgot his name and am too lazy to look it up), or Boomer/Helo... oh shut up.

Tigh's wife is promising to be annoying. Really annoying. But I think Tigh is going to come out better after this episode. I have more respect for him now, something that already started when he managed to get Starbuck out of her bed.

I think Roslin is finally realising that she can not let paranoia come between her and Adama (or between anyone on board of the fleet for that matter). Was kinda sad that she actually did listen to the Cylon.

They tried to go for a more comical note at one point and I wasn't sure if it worked. It did make me smile but it was kinda over the top and too obviously trying to be funny (this is not a funny show, people). But it made me like Baltar. Yes, I did actually say that. He's still a selfish ass but it was kinda funny to see him calculating how long he'd be working on those bloodtests. Also, Six was so getting territorial on him when Tigh's wife tried to seduce him. *amused and kinda liked it*

Heh, on that point, I must note that I'm linking Six more too. I wonder if the different bodies are in contact with each other. Heh, scratch that thought. Even if they were, it was already confirmed in Flesh and bones that the Cylon was too far away to make contact with the others. Hmmmz, so why was Six angsting at the end of the ep?

One more thing. Apollo. The scene with him and Tigh's wife playing footsie under the table. This is the first time that he was really looking like Archie. All panicky and overly naive. My brain kept giggling and going "Look! It's Archie!"

If I remember correctly, Edward James Olmos directed this one. It had a distinctly different feel to it, lol. And yes, the footsie scene - LMAO.
