I spend way too much time (read easily three hours) on these icons. Hence why I rarely am able to make multiple icons and make them shareable.

You can spend forever fiddling with icons. It does look pretty though. :)

Exactly, I think I am more of a perfectionist with my icons than with anything else.

I know what you mean. There are plenty that I play with for ages and think they look okay, and then come back later and think they look shocking. Sometimes, no matter what you do, you just can't get the icon to work.

And then there are the ones that seem to turn out brilliantly even though you didn't put a lot of effort into them.

*nods* I know. I think my icons are okay sometimes the time I spend on them doesn't seem to reflect itself in the quality.

Definitely. Sometimes the longer I spend on an icon, the more I dislike it!

Oh well, the trials and tribulations of icon making. One thing is for sure though - you'll never get good icons unless you sit down and make icons in the first place.
