woodfaceSo I've been looking for Briseis/Achilles fanfic. On fanfiction.net there is someone making a point of reviewing every single BA fic and pointing out that Achilles was with Patroclus and Briseis was just a slave etc. (frustrated much?)
I know I'm not far enough in the book yet to judge but there definitely is something going on with Briseis and Achilles. I know, I'm projecting 75% of it but Achilles is very upset about it. And yeah, maybe he is because he rightfully received Briseis and he out of principal doesn't want to give her up. But maybe it's just a little bit more.
Either way, that raving so called expert is already wrong because he described Briseis as a gift from a nation while it is stated that she is part of the booty from Thebes. Ha!
