Dude, I went to Luka Bloom and it was awesome. Luka simply rocks. He signed my CD *bounce* and I got a little something for janegaudi too. Yeah, I got a crush on him right now because there is nothing more amazing than watching this guy sing and become completely absorbed in his music. It's like there is nothing else in the entire world except for him and his guitar. And the fact that when he did open his eyes he looked at me might have helped too.

Man, I'd been reading your previous posts and so hoping you'd go see him. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself.

I, of course, have now realised that I am in completely the wrong place for seeing Irish musicians - with that one rather noticable exception *g* But all seriousness and Eamonn aside (because he doesn't really count - he might be from Donegal but has lived in Long Island for 10 years), I really miss that great Celtic stuff. I end up having to make do with CD instead (been playing The Saw Doctors recently!)

It's strange how as an Irish singer Luka Bloom comes to Belgium and the Netherlands a lot. I don't think we get that much Irish musicians here normally.

I am glad I went. He released his CD in the stores here now so I quickly bought it and got it autographed. He's just a great person, very kind and witty.
