woodface- The acceptance that has started to show during S7 after episodes like Evolution, Grace, Chimera and Heroes.
- End of Sam/Pete in the early season. I can not see it continue after Lost City. I just can't.
- Slow exploration of Sam/Jack friendship in the early season.
- Maintenance of the UST.
- I want to see a romance at the end of the series. Not just the last episode but a bit before that. Nothing too overt but just Sam and Jack slowly crossing the borders of friendship.
- End of the season: Sam and Jack at his cabin.
Wow, just talked to Steven who isn't a shipper (although he thinks Sam and Jack should just sleep together and get it over with and he finds that ship has been there from the first ep). He logically sees Sam dating Jack in S8 but he's not saying why so he won't spoil me LOL. I agree, everything in Lost City is pointing towards this.

Hon, you just answered your own question.
UST is very lovely, I just want something tangible though so we can see on screen what they might be like together. It doesn't have to be them necking, just something outside the SGC.

UST is great. I like the fact that UST is subtle enough that it's.. subtle. If you don't want to see it, you won't. So people who don't like the pairing don't *have* to see if if they don't want to.

Sam walks up next to Jack, maybe nudges him slightly as she tries to reach something behind him. He angles his head to look down at her, catches her scent, and inhales slowly and deeply. Sensing the shift, her eyes raise and lock with his, and she shivers lightly at what she finds in their depths. Her lips part as she tries to catch the breath she's just lost, and his head dips almost imperceptibly lower.
Yeah, something a little more than subtle would be nice. :^)

On the morning of the fourth day, Jack comes back from the store, but he doesn't know that during that time Sam's perception of their relationship has been changing, that she no longer sees him as her CO, but as a very desirable man. He shuts the truck's engine off and as he gets out he sees the front door open and Sam walk out. Her expression is one he hasn't seen before, a curious mixture of intense interest and something more primal. He's cautious, his movements slow as he approaches the front porch. They stare at each other for long moments, the bag of apples dangling from his fingers as he finds it hard to move from where he stands not a foot from her. Sam closes the gap, raising her arms, her fingers grasping the sides of his head, caressing his scalp, her eyes never leaving his. The bag connects with the ground as he's pulled forward and his lips meld with hers in a dance that will be played countless times from that moment until time ceases for both of them.
Whew! Now where is that cold shower I suddenly need?
