How much do I love the elevator scene? No denial of their emotions whatsoever. They both accepted it. And still Jack deals with it. Sure it hurts, but he wants this for her. Sam seemed to feel guilty, also towards Pete. I think she and Jack accepted too that in the end they would get together.
