*falls down*
Nov. 14th, 2003 06:25 pmAm home. Yaaay!
Had a pretty good day except that I am really tired now. Trying to recover from lack of sleep with 6 hours sleep is not even, alas.
I went to the library and watched the microfiches from the Dutch translation of Barthelomaeus Anglicus from 1485. Yes, I was relieved that it were just microfiches and not the book itself. I doubt they'd let me even point at it. Might be I was a bit naive... Anyway, it takes a whole lot of time to write everything up. Oy! But I finished for the unicorn and the crocodile. The handwriting was very clear and with my (albeit small) knowledge of paleography it was no problem to read. Only one paragraph I couldn't read entirely because the copy was flawed and the black spots over the words.
Went to the Quick with
janegaudi. Wieeeeeeeeeeee!! Then suggested we'd go to the free record shop. Result: Minne bought Eward Scissorhands. I bought U2- Rattle and Hum on DVD and The Mothman Prophecies. So when I get to see that movie again, you can expect a scared LJ post because that movie completely freaks me out. Don't know what I'm doing with myself buying it! I'm already paranoid just thinking about it. Add to that the black spider on my wall earlier. And that I'm going to watch Alien the Director's cut in the theatre tonight...
Right, one scared out of mind creeping around at 4am in the morning will be seen later this evening ;o)
