And now for something completely different; who stole my lyssie?

Randstad called. They might have a job for me for the next four weeks. Some office job, but I think this might be good experience. Only problem could be my French. They apparently asked for someone who speaks either Dutch-English or French-English, but the bosses over there are French speaking. My understanding of French is okay, but I'm scared I wouldn't understand any technical assignements. Anyway, the lady said she'd present me as mostly Dutch speaking and she'd see how they'd react to that. I should know either later today or tomorrow.

Haven't heard back yet from the paper. It's probably still early and I might never hear back from them anyway. I'm kinda worried that if they would get back to me, it would interfere with the temp job. But I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there. Chances are likely they'll pick someone with better French anyway.

ETA: I had this weird dream where I was babysitting on lytarules daughter and I kept accidently hurting the kid. Until suddenly the kid was wailing and accusing me of breaking her foot (and omg those toes were in a weird angle) and I couldn't imagine how I had done that but the evidence was there and I was freaking out that Lyta would never trust me ever again.

Of course, it then turned out it were evil and mean people who were trying to frame me and I didn't break her foot after all.
