Thesis Chlex

I'm happy about my thesis. Yes, you've heard that right happy. For a second I was panicking yesterday evening when I received an email from my promotor with the promise of sending a couple more emails with the correction of my latest chapters before he leaves on vacation. I received nothing and of course doom scenario's rose like mushrooms out of my ears (I know that's not the expression but *egh*). Anyway, this morning I did receive two emails from him with the chapter. He really liked the one about the whale. So much so that he gave another reference for me to make it even better.

Now if only I could drag my mind away from my latest OTP (bite me). Weekends always seem to be slower than weekdays, if I'm lucky I get as much done in those two days as I get done in one. Esp when you find yourself squeeing over Lex and Chloe. And what's up with that pairing anyway? I think it just proves that I can't handle slash otherwise I'd be reading Clex now but my mind refuses to project on a slash pairing. Male slash especially.

splash_the_cat, did you mail the fic to gmail? I didn't get anything but when I tried sending myself something there yesterday I didn't get it either so now I'm paranoid. Give me the head ups if you do send me the beta?

Okay, I swear I'll get started after lunch. *skips off to read Chlex*

Bah, my last chapter where I got to tackle middle dutch and I just don't get what it's saying. The first half was easy but the next bit is just hard and I'm trying not to think about the other middle dutch text I still have to read that is at least 4 times as long. ARGH!
