Update

The Sam Friendly Zone has been updated with some more spiffing new banners by nostalgia, blackbauble and CCJ. There is even one SG-1 friendly banner on there.

I'd just like to thank everyone who has helped with getting this project up and running. Whether it's by making banners, rewording my text, pimping or putting up banners. I am such excited by the responses and by how many people have already put up a banner.

Great. Lj is being a huge pain in the ass. Now that things are fast again, I'm not getting my emails with comments.

Yeah, might not be in the best of moods at the moment. So I think I'm going to take a break and read a bit in The Eagle of the Ninth.

I'll just hang

The starlings are back. Thousands of them swirling in the sky, making complicated shapes and then swooping down suddenly. It's a beautiful sight when they fly against the clear blue sky and altocumulus clouds. The starlings are early now, last year they gathered at the end of the summer.

I'm feeling twisted up. Torn between a heap of different emotions that leave me with a sense of enstrangement. I can't touch those birds and the fluttering in my belly when they swoop down is only a projection of what they are experiencing. I can't reach out and touch the images the book I'm reading is offering. It brings back hopes and ambitions that are fleeting now. Out of reach.

Got an invitation to go with my sister & co to go watch Shrek 2 but I still haven't made up my mind. ETA: I called her to say I was going with them then five minutes before they were supposed to come and get me my sis cancelled.
