They should check up on people to make sure they take care of their pets (and their kids). My sis took her cat to the vet to get him neutered and to do a check up. Turns out the poor kitty has AIDS. Apparently the only way for it to have spread would be through bites and that cat and Misty were constantly fighting. Misty should be alright because she was vacinated but my mom is worried and trying to find out how long those vacinations work. We haven't taken her to the vet since she is here because we haven't really needed to. Misty is healthy and we're a little afraid of what she'd do if we took her. It might be alright but she's easily spooked.

Bah, this is so sad. It could well be that the cat doesn't get sick for a long time but if those idiots had just taken care of their animals this wouldn't have happened in the first place. Who knows how many of the other cats she got infected by now.

Sam Friendly Zone

Why do we need a Sam Friendly Zone? Good question.

The Stargate online fandom is vast, with many different people who have different tastes and likes about the show. Unfortunately, these divergent strong opinions sometimes lead to character bashing. And Major Samantha Carter is always a favorite target. And while yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion, the childish name-calling and a demonization of the character has gotten entirely out of hand.

Placing a 'Sam Friendly Zone' banner on your website or journal means that you respect the character and like her for who she is, and not who everyone else thinks she should be.
