woodfaceMy thoughts on Scifi Saturday are a bit late because there were flings to be had. (Oh come on, how often am I going to be able to say that?)
Yay for Stargate. A silly episode that was just lots of fun. I loved Sam and Cameron poking each other, Cameron's obsession with food and his needs to go off world and save Teal'c. This made me giggle a whole lot, because if you replace Sam with Aeryn, you so have FH canon. I'm sad they killed the Sodan, though. I kinda liked that and it was Cameron's thing and now they killed it off.
Also, Cameron is a huge dork and I love him for it. He's finally getting over his heroworship and it rocks. Last week he told Daniel to go to hell and now he's being poky and annoying to Sam and it just works. He's not Jack, not by a long shot and that's how I love it. His relationship with everyone is just great and he plays so well off them. Also, cute.
And yes, like Christi said, I thought the Sodan didn't have symbiotes?
BSG was good but lacked Kara. However, seeing Anders again made up for it a whole lot. The Six thing has me puzzled. Did she somehow make a mention connection with Baltar before dying? I kinda liked the role reversal thing, though.
Also, I really need to finish my Vala/Cameron fic before next friday because I'm going to get jossed. And the storyline they have for Vala (what I've heard of it anyway) sounds so lame and bad that I really really should get my version in now. *kicks self*
I went to Brussels with Kurt yesterday and am now tired. Oh condition, where art thy? Kurt bought me The Chronicles of Narnia for my bday so now I have stuff to read. Yaaay! Also, I'm currently reading How to train your dragon which is just a cute book and so cool. I wonder if Dream would use it for his language classes as there's Dragonese in it.
On FH news, things are kidna strange. Cameron is still single and hasn't really talked to Vala. He has however flirted a whole lot. Yes, he's kinda becoming a ho, but in a cute and adorable way. Last night he had his first fling with Jaye Tyler and we'll see what happens when they wake up. And no, it's not going to be a next OTP. It's just sex and flinging but somehow they insist on being cute.

Date: 2006-02-27 07:54 pm (UTC)I think that in the first episode with the Sodan when Cam asked [insert leader guy's name here] how they survived for so long the leader guy said that they went on raids every now and then to get new symbiotes. Not sure, but it sounds right. ;)
In any case, they're all dead and that's incredibly depressing. :( But, the leader guy is still alive, so hopefully they'll be able to convince him to come to Dakara and train a new generation of free Jaffa. w00t!
BSG! I have missed so many episodes... but reading that Anders is in one- now I have to run and download them... :-)
