trajictale for the instant beta. And yes, this is Cameron/Vala because FH owns my life and because there is so little of it out there.
He wakes to find her bowed over him, the healing device lighting up in her palm and he can feel its heat inside him. She looks tired, spread thin as she pushes her own energy through the beam to buy more time for a cure that isn’t coming.
It’s the first time since she stepped through the Stargate that he feels anything besides annoyance and he wonders what she would have been like if it wasn’t for the goa’uld.
Tiredly, he reaches up and touches her wrist. There’s darkness as the beam dies and neither of them speak a word.
