woodface: (not your girl)

I liked this episode. I didn't at first because I saw things going even more down to hell, but in the end, it didn't (not really). I was at a point where I really started to dislike Adama (and I loved him so much in S1). His whole betrayal speech just made me cringe. He was so getting fixated and it was working on my nerves as I really wanted to get the old Adama back. I'm glad we did.

I want to say that Dee rocks. Sadly enough, the minute she started talking like that, I started fearing that she's a Cylon. *eyes BSG*

Heh, for the first time I realised that Zarek and Lee have the same way of speaking. The same cadence in their words. Ha, much Lee hate in this episode. Okay, not hate. I like Lee, but he was annoying me as much as he was annoying Kara.

Hrm, Kara getting back together with Lee was a nice scene. I absolutely loved Lee's bounciness and the hug. And then Lee goes one step further and Kara is all "WTF?" Hahahaha! I'm sorry, but that was exactly how I imagined Kara responding to any come ons made by Lee at this point. The 'sir' was little nice add on that reminded me of SG right away. *snickers*

Ack, the pointing gun scenes was painful. Poor Helo, that hurt. He was realy looking for Kara to step in and she did nothing at all. I'm not sure if that's going to go down well in the future. Kara did seem all torn up about it. *snuggles her*

Kara was actually completely torn up. She has gone through a lot of things on Caprica and while Lee has gone through a lot as well, he kinda expects her to be the same. I'm not sure if Kara is the same anymore, I'm not sure if she knows what exactly she is now. The whole ball scene was so frakking good (I kept waiting for her to hit him). Kara has issues, she keeps them bottled in and Lee just charges in (despite her earlier outburst he still doesn't seem to realise he should tread carefully) and is an annoying 16 year old brother who takes your ball and then refuses to give it back. So when he finally gets his head out of his arse and realises that something is wrong, he finally asks her if she wants to talk and he meets a blank wall. (Told yah, they don't confide in each other.) Lee gives up on getting Kara to talk, is about to leave, and Kara pulls her familiar facade that she's been wearing for years now back up again and does the one thing she knows well; she mocks him. She thorougly mocks Lee for saying that he loves her until he's at a point where he's too embarrassed to say anything like it again.

I know that kiss thing was going to happen in this episode, and I was kinda fearing getting something even more annoying thant KLG shoved down my throat. I can live with this however. Anything what I've said about Lee having a crush on Kara and she kinda treating him more as a sibling work perfectly in this episode. Her mocking him, her WTF response to the kiss were exactly how I imagined her to respond. I think however, that Kara/Lee shippers did still get a treat in this episode. I'm happy they kept it subtle enough to not burst my bubble (just yet).

So errr... I'm okay with this episode, but mostly because of what I hope is coming. Also, I'm gonna ignore Boomer kinda in this review because she still annoys me and look, Cylons come with their own copy of the scrolls downloaded into their brain! (Which kinda confirms my theory that Cylons rebelled because an idiot download the scrolls into their heads and they started questioning their origin and I should stop rambling now...)

Yay! Kara is hot.

ETA: I would have killed them if they killed Kat.
