Scifi friday
Jul. 31st, 2005 02:14 amAnother yawn. Not as much as last week as I was entertained by the badness of it all. Oh please, tell me they're not getting their inspiration from the last season of DS9 which completely sucked.
Also, please keep RDA out of the series if the only way he can make a presence is by looking utterly bored and uninterested. I'd rather have no Jack than this. And give me Sam back, bitches.
For a second there, I thought General Beau was going to suggest they send out missionaries to preach the bible.
ETA: At the end, I thought that that one guy looked a lot like Julian Sands, but I pushed the thought away as I couldn't imagine him being on SG. But it was him? *mind boggles*
First of all, I'm insulted by the lack of Kara. But I'm happy we finally get rid of the three different storylines.
Wow, Gaius shot Crash. I well and truly did not see that one coming. I'm kinda sad Crash is dead, but dude, you do not point a gun at Cally. Everyone loves Cally. So don't do it! Of course, Gaius gets away with it. And he's well and truly frakked if Six is going to be his conscience.
Last year, I remember having a discussion on the scifi boards with someone about how martial law was a bad idea. This just confirms it. Tigh in command? May the gods have mercy on us all. I wonder if this will bring Zarek and Roslin closer together, or if Zarek will cease the opportunity to take advantage of the fling he had with Ellen. Also notice how at the end he orders the marines to "get those people the hell of my ship. Wasn't it Adama's ship?
They get brownie points for turning the people from Gemenon into die hard religious freaks. It always amuses me when you see Billy on the background thinking "oh gods, here we go again" whenever Roslin starts about the Scrolls again. You got to grant it to him that he remains loyal anyway. *pats Billy*

Date: 2005-07-31 12:40 am (UTC)I was really impressed at how the writers made Gaius appear to be the sane one in that little scene.
I wonder if this will bring Zarek and Roslin closer together
Power couple!
