Kinda mixed feeling about the newer trilogy in general, though this last one hit me hardest. I was already to mock it thoroughly and then they showed the killing of the younglings - I was nearly sick. I'm not sure what it is, but baby-killing makes me react in such a violent way. *shudders*. And the Jedi-slaughter, too - thoroughly tragic.
I felt a bit sorry for Natalie Portman, though, she had a rubbish storyline!
As for continuity, yeah, I had all the same issues - I'm such and original!SW junkie :) I was sure Padme hung around with the kiddies for a while, after what Leia said in RotJ. And go the wookies! Woo!
But yeah, the youngling-killing... I wish I could stop picturing it.
