Farhenheit Thunder
Jul. 23rd, 2004 03:04 amGeez, I go to the movies and I come back to +50 comments.
Anyway, went to see Farhenheit 9/11. I'm glad I did. Some stuff managed to aggravate me even more. All hail! It's clearly propaganda, quite cleverly done and while I think Moore's actions are sometimes a bit over the top I'm glad he is pointing out this kind of stuff.
What struck me the most (beside the stupidity of Britney Spears) was the reports on Iraq when Bush was just elected (they're no danger at all, have not expanded their military forces etc) and then a while later (they have chemical and nuclear power!! OMG, they managed to become and invading force in 2 years! EVIL!!!!!).
Yups, am rather disgusted with Bush and a whole lot more... well even more so. I really hope that some republicans will see this and that it will open their eyes. I know there is a lot of critism out there and mistakes are being pointed out; But it's all a "prove 2% of the movie is wrong and hope they won't believe the rest" kind of desperation.
And what's with these thunderstorms? Geez!

Do I think Saddam was a just ruler> no. Do I think we should remove him from office? well.. where have we been with all the other injustice things happening in other countries? Who are we to pick and choose who needs to be in power?
Interesting times we live in.
