Watch some more Voyager today but I'm not feeling very chatty right now so I'll limit my comment to one thing:

The interview with Kate Mulgrew was awesome. I really liked it, I really liked how she views the character. Apparently she had a lot of say in the development of her character and they trusted her with it. It struck me as something that doesn't happen as much on SG (as far as I can tell anyway).

Kate Mulgrew just talks with so much love about Janeway, it's amazing. If you didn't like her before, I swear this interview would win you right over. I loved the bit where she says how Janeway had a double life only she knew about.

At the end of the interview she tells how some people told her that by playing Janeway she would not be typecast as her. Kate Mulgrew doesn't see why that's a bad thing though, she adored playing the character and would do so again without second thought.

I've had the pleasure of seeing Kate at 2 different cons - one before season 3 started and one shortly after S7 ended. In both, Kate was awesome and made me love Janeway more. This interview just is more of the same and is exactly the reason I love Mulgrew and Janeway.

Kate once said she kept a daily diary of her experiences while making Voyager - one day she will publish it. I hope we get to see that "double life" that she and Janeway shared one day. Tres cool.

Yeah, she is really awesome. I didn't have internet when I was in my Star Trek phase so I really had no clue about the actors except for some interviews in the mags I used to buy.

I heart Kate. I think she did a fantastic job on Voyager.

I'd love to see her and Amanda tapping in something together- I think it would not only be a drool fest, but also something really worth watching. They're both really fabulous actresses.
