Misty is developing an attitude... about my bed.

My bed seems to be the best sleeping spot in the house lately, although it seems that I have to be in the room as well. So now when she comes inside the house through the basement during the night, she comes knocking on my door. (She just knocked a minute ago and was sitting there with this 'what the hell took you?' attitude) Then she very determined walks up to my bed, jumps on it and looks insulted when something is lying on top of it.

I had just read a bit on my bed but I pulled the sheets up in case she would come back. Of course the sheets aren't lying perfect and the bed is is crumpled. So Misty lies down against the pillow and then looks around at all the creases, puts her paw on one and studied the crease carefully. I swear she's giving me an attitude about it.

It's my bed! Well you wouldn't say that as last night I had to maneuver a whole lot to get in it. I tried moving her so she would lie next to my legs but she managed to already let herself fall snuggly against me before I was good and well in the bed. Also, in the mornings, after she has woken up my parents and ate a bit, she now comes back inside my room to continue sleeping with me.

So yeah, I think she claimed my bed. And yes, I just devoted an entire post on my cat. Oh well.

Aw... don't ya just love your cat! My cat is not a huge thing - until she gets on my bed and stretches out. Then she can somehow manage to take up most of a full-sized bed. And she has this tendency during the winter when it's cold to snuggle up by lying between my legs on top of the covers. I wake up and I can't move. Once she did this while I was sleeping on my back and I started dreaming that I was pregnant and stuck on my back in bed - like an overturned turtle - and woke to find it was her!

*giggles* Cats have this amazing stretching ability. Misty is a big cat though. She is very strongly build, has big paws and a lot of strength. So if she stretches, that's a *whole* lot of cat.

Aww to ocute. Mine gives me attitude about my bed too though- if there is *anything* on it he meows till i move it- book, sweater you name it- whether its where he wants to sit/sleep or not!

*snerks* Cats have attitudes. I think they just claim the whole house and everything has to be like they want it to be. And don't you dare move anything *g*
