I got my examschedule yesterday and it pretty much sucks. Thesis has to be in on june 1, first exam is june 7, next is june 11. Which would all be fine if the thesis didn't mean that I have no time at all to prepare this beforehand and my subjects aren't exactly light weights. Esp philosophy is a pain in the ass. But Steven tells me that they changed the system and now you can't ask for a change. I'm still going to beg on friday to get the first one moved though. If not I'll go beg the prof personally.

ETA: 93 hits for Experimental, amount of feedback from lists: 0. Right.

Jara, I'm gonna stick my neck out here.
The majority of the peeps on the SG1 lists are lovely people; lively, bright and good fun.
But they can also be tunnel visioned. (*WHY* am I even saying this to you? *g*) After talking to some of the samandjack-ers, they can't understand why peeps would even *contemplate* writing another pairing, let alone another fandom.
You know you were right to write *g*
And damn fine it was too.

PS I've been playing with a Sam/Janet short *shrugs*
I reckon anything goes as a try. If it doesn't work, we tried. Better than not, IMHO.
This comments seems a bit pointless as you're an intelligent person that knows these things, but well, even I voice an opinion sometimes. {{hugs again}}

No more NC17 for me. I'll leave it to the experts. That reminds me, what was that story that you wrote a while back where Sam was suffering a sort of battle stress and Jack 'helps' her, it takes place in a tent? I haven't read that for ages, I need a Jara-fix.

There is a Sam-whumpy-angsty plot that I've been working on and sent it to a beta.. but not heard back yet.
I don't know if it's covering old ground and that I need to try more genfic. *ponders*

And I think you're refering to Contrast although it was more that they were both kinda stressed about it. Unless you meant that fic by ruralstar?

Contrast! Just been over and swiped it, yes it was the one - he cleans her with his towel. Can I take this opportunity to say again how much I like it?

I'm comiserating; I got one non-lj piece of feedback for 'Concessions'. The lj feedback was excellent, so that makes some sort of difference for me.
