Mar. 5th, 2004 10:52 pmWow, I just update the Meg Austin Archive! *beams proudly*
1. Your first grade teacher's name?
Miss Rita.
2. Your favorite Saturday morning cartoon?
Yeah, about that, I kinda slept on saturday morning. But I loved Thundercats.
3. The name of your very first best friend?
Tessa.
4. Your favorite breakfast cereal?
Frosties
5. Your favorite thing to do after school?
Either play with my lego's, go ride on my bike or play knight with my wooden sword, black cape and carton with aliminium helmet.
Barbie? Funny you should ask that. We had a convo about this, this week. It went something like this;
Mom: Barbies never were popular in this household.
Nathalie: No, me and Christine used to have barbies but they'd get raped in their appartment or get their heads cut off, stuff like that.
Jara (who is 5 and 10 years younger than her sisters and never played with them): When I played soldier I used to get kidnap mine.. *trails off and hides horrible stuff she did to her barbie*
An *looks a bit disturbed at Jara and Nathalie*
Mom: It's funny, I read an interview recently where the woman was talking about how she only used dolls as a pretense to hide weapons under. Sounded very familiar
Jara *ears perk up*: I used to do that! I'd put a gun under the doll and then went in to rob the store.
Mom: Yeah, or she'd be playing outside with a baby carriage, go up to the gate and then pull her gun out and start shooting people on the street.
Jara *grins*: Yeah, no one saw that coming. *thinks back on the good old days*

Batman (Bruce Wayne). You can be dark and
brooding, and you're not the most social of
folks, but you more than make up for it by
being brilliant and perceptive.
Which Justice League character are you?
brought to you by Quizilla
Dude, batman is THE best!

Date: 2004-03-05 10:54 pm (UTC)I had a Sindy doll rather than a Barbie. I also had a *huge* Sindy doll house... that I ruined and made into a fort/den. Oops. My Dad was not pleased.
So, yeah, I didn't didn't like dolls either. I much prefered my wooden sword (we used to act out Dogtanian And The Three Muskahounds *happy sigh*) and my skateboard. I was such a tomboy! Still am I suppose. *g*

Date: 2004-03-05 11:12 pm (UTC)I'm pretty sure we still have it, if my mom didn't secretly throw it away (she tried to do that once but we discovered it and hauled all the old toys back inside *g*). So it should be around. We need to get you a new sword!

Aww, but it wouldn't be the same ::sniffs:: I do still have a cool stick that I found it the the forest, that my dad sanded and varnished for me. It sits by the side of our fireplace now. :D

And a carton shield with a two headed eagle on it. *beams*
And a bow, but I wonder if that's the one Jonathon broke or if I have another one.
