My wife was pregnant. A high risk pregnancy, going through childbirth could both kill my wife and our child. There was a chance she'd go into labour early but she was supposed to have a cesarian.

We were on an outing when suddenly my wife has a contraction. There was supposed to be clinic nearby so we went looking for it. When we couldn't find it I desperately asked directions from some firefighters who were helping out somewhere but they laughed at me and wouldn't reply. They kept putting me off so after a while I took my wife inside a bookstore hoping they'd let me use the phone. They wouldn't. The owner kept saying he'd call but he never did. I got desperate as my wife's contractions kept coming faster. Furious I looked the store for a telephone. I grabbed it out of the secretary's hands and called the emergency number. She must have done something to it cause it kept playing this tune and before I could hang up and redial, the owner was with me again. He threw me out of the store and told me not to come back. I told him fine but then he wouldn't let me go get my wife again. All of a sudden he thrust my child into my arms and when I pleaded to see my wife he refused to let me back. She could die! I was so desperate, I needed to see her but he kept threatening to kill my baby if I didn't go away. Suffice to say that I managed to get back inside and find her there unconscious.. I grabbed the owner by his neck, I was so furious that I could snap it in two if he had challenged me again.

Then my mom woke me up. Argh! I still feel the desperation and worry from the dream within me. Completely restless.
