Dec. 31st, 2003 01:20 pmLooking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
You could say that. I only wrote my first fic about a year ago. I have been pretty prolific this year.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2003?
Pairing: I guess the Sam/Jonas one at the moment.
Genre: Deathfic
Fandom: Harry Potter
What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest.
Reprieve because it was a catharsis to write.
Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?
Contrast, definitely. Writing NC-17 with no experience whatsoever was scary. I find the AU fic I'm working on a risk too. Not everyone will be prepared to stick with it, I guess. Reprieve for its ending. I never thought I'd have done that but it seemed right at the moment.
Learn? Nothing much.
Reprieve teached me how to stick with fics, I think. It was the first (and only) time I finished something from that length.
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
Finish the AU fic. Perhaps spare Three Dogtags a look. Esp finish the fic about Jack's past and my sequel to Fragile Balance.
