Remember the blackbirds of doom? When they finished their one nest, we decided to pull out the nest in the hopes that they would go elsewhere. They did start a new one, but when we pulled that out as well, they moved across the street in the neighbours' hedge. We thought all was well... wrong.
This morning, Misty decided it was time for payback. While we were all still sleeping, he crossed the street, braved the hedge and pulled the two young out of the hedge and killed them in our hallway. Blood everywhere, one baby bird completely torn to pieces. Sadly enough, the birds lay a bit heavy on his stomach and he ended up throwing up all over the place. This noise woke my mom up at 6:00 in the morning. You can imagine she wasn't happy. The excecutioner himself is happily lying in his chair and is catching up on some sleep as genocide is a tough job. Mother blackbird is hopping around in the gardens, looking and calling for her young.
Dude, they spent weeks terrorising our cat. Couldn't they attack him when it mattered and she was actually, you know, killing their young?
ETA: There must be one bird left, because there was another bird alarm and Misty had disappeared from the house. My mom found him back sitting in the high branched of the tree the nest is in.
